Private Land  - Stay Out - Moab Area
The recent sale of school trust lands has resulted in the closure of the uper and lower "Helerado" Trails.  These are located in the Pole Canyon area near Moab.  For more information on this loss, please click on this link to the cruiseroutfitters.com web site.

What a shame that the RS2477 law doesn't apply to former School Trust Lands.

 Private Land - Stay Out - Tibble Fork Area
The area known as "Major Evans Gulch" on the north side of American Fork Canyon, above Sliver Lake Flats Reservoir has been closed by the property owner.   The mere threat of a law suit has ruined the opportunity to see the top of the world for the rest of us.  To the sky pilot who threatened the law suit rather than take responsibility for your own stupidity: Gee Thanks.
 
 
Bridgerland Trail Riders Association
FIRST MEETING: 
Wednesday May 21, 2003 at 7:00 PM.  The location will be at the Logan Recreation Center 200 S. 100 W. Logan. Entry will be through the main door on 100 W.  Once inside you will see a counter on your left, ask the attendant for directions to, "the classroom".

GREAT WESTERN TRAIL? 
Shoshone Trail

The Shoshone Trail is moving along quite nicely with or without the Federal Trail Designation.  The trails are already designated open for OHV use, so it is now just a matter of posting signs and publishing maps for the public.  If you club would like to get involved with the work.  Please contact the Logan Ranger District of the Wasatch Cache National Forest.  You'll be glad you did.

According to the University of Alabama, producers of the Elementary School television program "Envirionment Series" Each cow in America is responsible for the production of 100 gallons of Methane gas each and every day.

Between the removal of trees to create grazing land and their production of greenhouse gasses, the common cow has become an arch enemy in the fight to save the environment.  No wonder they (the environmentalists)  want to cease grazing rights on all federally owned lands.

Question: How does an animal produce a volume of gas rougly twice its body mass volume each and every day?
Answer: When you are making up your own statistics to lie to the public you don't have to worry about accuracy.  You just have to find a gullable audience, such as children, who will believe anything you tell them just because you are a "grown up."
