Although we have done extensive testing and careful implementation of our web site, there are still a few things that offer challenges.  We've listed a few of the questions and issues that people have presented to us below, so that if you experience the same problem you will know what to do.

We don't offer 24x7 web site support.  We wouldn't mind doing so, but this is a one man show and life is real.  We do respond to questions and issues as soon as reasonably possible.  There will be times when we are out in the field doing research for more trails or for other reasons and it could take a few days, even as long as a week to get back to the office and address the issues.  Your patience is always appreciated.

I lost my password

Answer: Send us an email with your username and we will send an email with your password to the email address on file.

I changed my email address

Answer: Send us an email with your username and new email address and we will change your email address for you in our file and on our Newsletter and Update list, if you selected that option.

Just Registered and I can't log in.

Answer: Contact us. Give as much detail about the problem as possible.  We'll verify your registration and fix the file.

What does the "logins remaining" mean?

Answer: Your subscription is limited to a certain period or a specific number of login accesses to the web site.  If you use up all your login access you have used up your subscription.  You may renew your subscription to obtain access to the web site once again.  If you share your username and password with others you limit the period that you will be able to access the web site without renewing the subscription.

I get a "Security Warning" message when I log in.

Answer: This is a windows message that simply indicates that you are moving from a secure page to an insecure page.  Your data has already been passed and received securely moving to the Trails menu is nothing to worry about.  If you receive this message, please select "Continue".  Do not cancel.
